I start my endless journey back to DC tonight. Can't wait to actually talk with you guys.
Went to the Indian Museum yesterday. Very creepy. All these dark and dingy rooms. It was as if the Victorians started a museum and no one ever updated it. Oh, wait that is probably true. (Actually, I take that back the cultural anthropology exhibit had population figures from as recent as 1961!) Lots of decrepit taxadermy specimens with staring glass eyes. Lizards and snakes in jars of formaldehyde. Beetles and flies on pins. Dusty glass cabinets filled with poorly labeled rocks and bits of fossils. Including a couple of cabinets on the wonders of asbestos and one whole cabinet filled with jars of opium!.

that sounds like the BEST museum ever!! I cannot wait to talk to you too!! Call me when you get in - whatever time it is!!! We need to figure out three way calling so all three of us can talk...
yeah, totally should have been part of the set for sherlock holmes.....
