La Folie de Notre Mere...
Check out my most recent email...
Hi, I see by the news you seem to be living in the new crime capitol of the world. Keep safe. Hope to see you some time this week. On the otherhand, the Hollywood Hills are burning and of course, DC is always the nutty capitol of the world. Love and hugs, Mom
In the subject she just wrote "Dorchester". The way she talks you'd think I live in Beiruit. But apparently you guys have to look out for forest fires and insane people.

top 10 celebrity crushes

ok mes soeurs, who are your top 10 celebrity crushes???
I'll start with my #10. Michael Ware. Who, you may ask? He is the angry, passionate CNN reporter who has been telling it like it is in Iraq for God knows how long. I love his Australian accent and his fearless reporting style. He's recently got himself into hot water for supposedly heckling John McCain....I love it.

Across the universe
Have you guys checked out the trailer to this. It starts off like a somewhat cheesy and predictable love story set to a Beatles' soundtrack and then at the end, it appears to explode into trippy Julie Taymore madness...I'm intrigued.

More Bourne and Pirates!
Check out the trailers here. So many cute boys to look forward to seeing on the big screen! Bourne appears to be leaping Aladdin style through some North African city with Julia Styles in tow....As for pirates 3, it can only improve after the horribleness of pirates 2. I fear it may be heavy on unnecessary action and lacking plot and wit. What say you??

Which tarot card are you?

SO I have returned from my wi-fi free hiatus on Nantucket. Huzzah. Back to blogging.
Check out this tarot card quiz. Apparently, I am the high priestess. "Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.
The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods."

I am definitely filled with arcane knowlege....

Oh silly Gael....
"On a lighter note, I understand you're a fan of The Big Lebowski, a cult classic in the States. Do you have a favorite scene?
I like it when [Lebowski, played by Jeff Bridges] mentions that his rug really held the room together. I like that a lot."
Um, ok Gael. Stoner much?
