I know, when he first started singing everyone just kind of looked around at each other like, 'hey are you hearing this'?? The back up guys all seemed really excited to be there too, like a bunch of white band nerds who can't believe that this badass black dude who drinks jack straight from the bottle and sings like james brown lets them play soul with him.
